Sarah Regan Snavely was born and raised in the extreme corner of southwestern North Dakota where she now lives with her Greyhound dogs. She received her BFA from Minnesota State University – Moorhead. She has been awarded a North Dakota Council on the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship and has been appointed by the Governor of North Dakota to the North Dakota Council on the Arts Board of Directors. Sarah has also received grants from the Bush Foundation and the Greyhound Club of America. Sarah has exhibited across the United States and has work in all fifty states and seventeen countries and has lived with Greyhounds since adopting her first from Greyhound Pets of America – Minnesota in 1995.
