Stumbled onto your site looking for garden statues. I am in awe of your work! I started working for a family that shows whippets when I was 16. Almost 30 years later (2 whippets, 1 greyhound and 3 lurchers later), I know the lines of these dogs like the back of my hand. I see that you do too. I have never seen the lines and personalities captured so beautifully - and correctly- at the same time. You have a new fan!

Love the perspective of the first thru-the-fence shot. One close, one far away. Everyone knows where mum is when she's prowling the fence line with the camera.

Poor Loofas. They take so much abuse. For some reason the orange ones are the first to go?

I think I could handle tracing. :-) But that is probably the extent of my art skills.

Regarding tracking, I am using a book called Enthusiastic Tracking. It is very step by step. A few pages of what you need, what to do, etc. and then each page is basically a lesson plan. Tells you how long the tracks should be, direction of the wind, how long to age, foot drops, flags, etc. If it doesn't go well, I repeat the lesson. If it does go well, on to the next page next time. Each lesson has a diagram and some reminders on what your goal for the day is. Periodically, there is a new chapter with additional pages of explanation and then more lesson pages. Very very easy to follow and not LONG and boring.
