North Dakota Council on the Arts Leadership Circle member. One of 15 artists and arts organizations leaders chosen by the NDCA to promote arts and arts advocacy in North Dakota.

North Dakota State Library Coordinating Council member. Representing Public Libraries. Appointed by Governor.
2005-present
Worked to revitalize the Bowman Regional Public Library with the goal of creating a public space for community, creativity and education. Employed in 2006 as the director of the Library. Curate monthly art exhibitions for the Library’s art gallery, organize public art events and workshops, and conduct children’s art experiences.

Donated “Desire” sculpture, a Greyhound head study to the Greyhound Gang in Kanab, Utah. Raised $734 for Greyhound Adoption.
Donated “Repose” sculpture, a sleeping Greyhound sculpture, to Royal Hounds Greyhound Adoption in Puyallup, Washington. Raised $1835 for Greyhound Adoption.
2004-present
Raised $8,000+ for Almost Home for Hounds – a Greyhound Rescue & Rehabilitation facility in Nunn, Colorado. Created a 4′ x 16′ ceramic tile mural with Greyhound’s paws in clay as a backdrop for mural scene about the transition from racetrack to forever home.
2003
Created an “In Remembrance” medallion for Greyhound Gang in Kanab, Utah. Program is ongoing.
