The countdown to the event in Delaware has begun – Dewey Beach. Along the way there are other events too. Like California. Lompoc. Also a new dog art event in New Jersey – hoping I can stop there on my way to Dewey Beach.

I”ve been making tiles. Lots of ”em. I”ve resisted posting the new designs until I can photograph the fully completed tiles – rather than post photos of them in the works. It is hard to resist. I want to know what you all think of them!

Instead I”m posting a photo of my current project – porcelain tiles. These are tiny tiles – inspired by their larger counterparts – made to be strung from a cord or as a brooch-type decorative pin. They are fun to make – and don”t let their small size fool you – I”m amazed at how much time they suck up. Sanding and smoothing. Making sure the details are just right. But lots of fun too.
