Blast from the past, part two.

Still looking through old photographs, trying to find photos of me with art or dogs. While I have found some early dog drawings like the one below, I’m having better luck with past dogs+me verses art+me.

I vaguely remember drawing this. I think I drew this dog over and over again in a series of drawings. What I like about this drawing is the tail – the space of the page is totally filled up with the dog – I don’t know where I learned to fill up the space but I do remember Mom (an art teacher) preaching about this.

I’m about 14 years old in this photo – the pups were probably 8 months old.

This one of the poodles from the photo above. Miki. Mikhala. After cutting off her puppy coat, we decided to show her. So we grew out the show coat. I still love poodles but Greyhounds are more suited to my lifestyle.

By 1999 there were five. From left, Striker, Sterling, Kelly, Apollo and Essie (Esther).
