The two sculptures in the studio are coming along.
The big dog I call Frank has progressed a bit. I’ve got to keep his feet and legs wet — they really want to dry! Not yet! Pretty pleased with this one, so far.
And the Gettysburg angel got it’s wings today. Finishing touches left and then onto the drying.
Whew. Good day. Hoping tomorrow will be a studio day also. The to-do list is long and I’ve got a clay problem. Oh well, tomorrow….

Beautiful, just beautiful! 
Through my process of construction and destruction, I push clay into animal forms. I sculpt from memory, inspired by the hours of living with my pack of Greyhound dogs.
I meld the muscles, bones, sinewy lines, and shapely curves of the canine with the plastic, pliable clay to convey my feelings about difficulties, challenges and the small moments in life filled with humor.
